Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. – Proverbs 29:18

We believe that our vision is a God-appointed mission for our lives.  It is the reason God created and shaped us, and called us.  And we believe that it is important to share our vision and be open about it to those we support and those who support us.

We believe that the Lord intended our marriage so that we could work together to share the message of Jesus and to help others to discover His truth, and to grow towards maturity.

Our hearts are broken seeing how many people are looking and longing for answers in life, and that many are drifting around following worldly wisdom, false religions and ideologies.  Further, even among Christians, many are ill-equipped to defend their faith, compromised by false teaching, and without access to sound Biblical teaching, discipleship and counsel.

We believe that it is our calling to share with, teach, and encourage others to think and live Biblically.

For myself (Andrew), I believe that God is calling me to a ministry of preaching, teaching and apologetics.  I believe that God is calling me to stand for Him and His Word.  Christians, in a world full of lies, need to hear and see the Word of God preached fully, and defended soundly.  If they are not equipped to refute the lies of the world, then they risk being deceived and lead astray, as is happening far too often.

I feel that God is calling me to a ministry of preaching and teaching to equip believers with an un-shakeable confidence in the Scriptures, and with answers to the world’s questions, so that they are no longer on the defensive, but can take the Gospel to the world with confidence, and “destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God” (2 Corinthians 10:5).

It is time for the church to decide where it will stand, and whom it will serve.  After years of time-wasting and disobedience, I myself will say with Joshua:  “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:14-15).

For myself (Fillia), I believe that God is calling me to a ministry of Biblical counselling and spiritual growth for women and young people.  Many people are being counselled using worldly wisdom, which is often unbiblical and leaves them in limbo and more anxiety.  I believe that the Bible is the source of all truth, therefore, approaching the complexity of life and people through Biblical lens is the answer to help women and young people to grow towards wholeness and maturity.

Both of us see the need for further training and development to equip us for the works to which we are called.  For this reason, we have recently applied to study at a Christ-centred seminary.  We believe that this is where God is calling us to be for the next season, and are excited to see what doors He opens for us.
